Discernment Matters Wk. 2 ()
Ryan Wyatt, August 9, 2026Part of the Discernment Matters series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
Jeremiah 29:11 is one of the most quoted promises in Scripture, but understanding the promise means understanding the context around it. God’s people were walking through a season they would not have chosen, yet His authority still called for obedience, His heart remained faithful, and even His discipline pointed toward hope.
In Week 2 of Discernment Matters, we learn that we don’t get to claim God’s promises while ignoring God’s authority—and that even when His plans are uncomfortable, God is still faithful.
