We Are A Church That Believes in Serving

Because of the love of reaching others that has been inborn in our own body, since we are a mission church, Church 213 believes in being a giving, sending, sharing church.  The Purpose Statement of our Mission Ministry is “to share, love, teach and grow disciples of Christ from across the street to around the world.”  Our Church 213 Mission Team plans and organizes mission opportunities for those interested in serving one day or two weeks, locally or abroad.

Ongoing Opportunities

Newton Pregnancy Resource Center – Church 213 contributes monthly to support the Newton County Pregnancy Resource Center and provides focuses to help fund the program. During the months of May to June, we participate in the Baby Bottle Fundraiser Campaign and provide a giving time during
the Christmas season.

Contact Debbie Wyatt at [email protected] to assist with the campaigns or for organization details.

CLC COFFEE DAYS – Church 213 serves monthly at Oxford Baptist Church Christian Learning Center. This is a great opportunity to help serve children breakfast prior to starting their school day.

Contact Angel Moore to see how you can signup to serve or provide breakfast items for the students.

Good News…. There’s Hope! – Prayer under the tent all throughout Covington and Conyers, as well as Athens. This nation needs revival. Too much of the world is in the Church. So, we go into the world and be The Church. We show them in love and boldness how much they need the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray with people and we love on people. Come join us and help us pray for people in need.

CASAS POR CRISTO MISSIONARIES

Support our missionaries in Mexico with Casas por Cristo.

THE OAKS SENIOR LIVING CENTER

The Oaks Senior Living Center is a once-a-month outreach we do, where we lead the Oaks community in worship and devotion. See how you can get plugged into serving on this outreach opportunity!

PAST MISSIONS

Flexico Por Mexico

This year we were given the opportunity to partner with Casas Por Cristo and send a team of 18 church members to help build a house for a family in need.

Kentucky Mission Trip 2022

On Dec. 10th, 2021, The city of Mayfield, KY in Graves County was ravaged by an E4 storm. The tornado damaged or destroyed 1,300 homes, businesses, and churches. On June 12th Church 213 sent a group of 26 church members to help in whatever way possible to meet needs that have still been needed to be met 6 months later.

The Top

A worship event that we’ve been a part of since 2021. A summer and winter worship night led by our very own Parker Wyatt, originally for teens and young adults who are in need of nights of fellowship and opportunity to worship the Lord together, now for all walks of life to gather, fellowship, and worship.

Fourth of July Fireworks

On the Fourth of July, we get together as a church and meet at the top of the parking deck off the square for a time of fellowship and celebrating Independence Day.
