Turning On the Light of Wisdom ()
Ryan Wyatt, October 18, 2026Part of the Proverbs series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
What does it really mean to live a good life, and where does true wisdom begin?
As we kick off our new sermon series, *Proverbs: Skillfully Living a Life with Purpose*, we discover that wisdom is more than knowledge or good advice. It's God's love given for our good, teaching us how to live in His world, His way, and with His people.
In "Turning On the Light of Wisdom," we explore Proverbs 1:1–7 and discover that wisdom begins with humility, a willingness to be taught, and a heart that depends on God. The beginning of wisdom isn't knowing more; it's recognizing who knows best and choosing to follow Him.
Because ultimately, the good life only flows through the Good Shepherd.
