Hosea Wk. 8 ()
Ryan Wyatt, June 14, 2026Part of the Hosea - A Living Sermon of God's Love series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
In Week 8 of Hosea: A Living Sermon of God’s Love, we look at Hosea 8:1–14 and the danger of idolatry in the heart of God’s people.
Idols are sneaky. They often begin as good things, but when they become ultimate things, they take the throne of the human heart. Hosea reminds us that God is not interested in empty religious activity when our hearts belong to something else.
A divided heart cannot offer undivided worship. This message challenges us to examine what has captured our affections, what is shaping our pursuits, and whether our lives are truly surrendered to God’s mission.
