Words to Live By

In Week 5 of Hosea: A Living Sermon of God’s Love, we turn to Hosea 4:1-19 and see God bring His case against Israel. The evidence is clear: a lack of faithfulness, kindness, knowledge of God, faithful leadership, and a growing love for corruption. Yet even in this courtroom scene, God’s desire is not only to expose sin but to call His people back to truth, repentance, and covenant faithfulness.

Court is in session, and Hosea reminds us that God gives pardon from past sin and power over present sin.
