On-going: Outreach efforts to our local community and cooking ministry at the local homeless shelter.
Church 213 completed a mission trip in July 2013 to Higuey, Dominican Republic. The mission team consisted of over 20 people, including Church 213 members and other volunteers. Pastor Stan and Ms. Nancy conducted a fact finding trip to the area before the mission trip and were told that the church in Higuey had been praying for a mission team from the United States for over five years. The team ministered at various churches, visited an orphanage, conducted a youth Bible school, and helped in the initial construction of a church building.
Since 1999 Pastor Stan has been leading a group of volunteers on a mission trip to Zambia Africa for three primary reasons: A children’s orphanage located in Livingston, to go out into the bush and spread the gospel, and to encourage local African church leaders through a Pastor’s Conference. In April 2011, our team also lead a ‘Youth Event’ for the Livingston Children’s Orphanage. It was an experience that included great teaching, worship, games, etc. We also minister to the Orphanage workers, as well as the villages in the bush, with supplies and gifts.
